Welcome to Green Gables ! Our family-run country inn is situated in the small country village of Mcgregor , in the heart of the Breede Valley wine region, yet we are a mere 2 hours drive from Cape Town, South Africa.

Expect country- style hospitality and accommodation in our buildings which are historical monuments and date back to 1862. Have a sundowner on the Manor House veranda ? a favourite spot for locals ? and enjoy spectacular views of the village and Langeberg mountains in the distance before tucking into a hearty meal in the restaurant.

McGregor is a small village in the mountains of the Western Cape, South Africa. It is roughly 150 km east of Cape Town. It is located in Ward 5 of the Breede River Winelands Municipality. According to the Census 2001, this Ward has a population of 10,254 people.
