Gatz Guesthouse is ideally located in Boshoek, just 32 km from Rustenburg, 150 km from Johannesburg, and 19 km from the edge of the mountainous Pilanesberg National Park. 22 km from Pilanesburg Nature Reserve and 22 km from Sun City Resort.

Accommodation is offered in comfortable Standard and Deluxe Rooms, and Backpackers Bungalows Double Rooms. Each room features an en suite with either a bath or a shower. Some of the rooms feature a flat-screen TV, and a small terrace with garden views.

Continental breakfasts are prepared each day in our lovely breakfast and dining room. An ordered breakfast can also be taken in the rooms. Packed lunches can be provided on request.

Free private parking is possible on site. Ask about our complimentary car washing. Choose to have your event catered for served by the boma or in our conference hall. Our restaurant and bar area looks over the large swimming pool, and is a great place to entertain friends and family or for just enjoying a cold beverage.

Allthough there was litter around our backpacker room, the accommodation was always clean. There was not everything that the website had offered. bathrobe, free toiletries and a hairdryer were missing. We did not sleep well, as there were dogs barking very loudly most of the night. The packed breakfast was nice, but more like a small snack than a propper meal. Breakfast at the guesthouse was great the second morning, unfortunately the third morning they were very late and out of jam. A bonus was the free car-wash, that was a very nice surprise and gave the guesthouse a few extra points.

The room was clean and surprisingly well kitted for what we paid (the 'backpackers' is more like a hotel). Excellent value for money, I think we will make it our regular spot for when we visit Pilansberg or Sun City in future. Thank you for having us! Cal and Jo

Christmas Visit by

I was slitely dissapointed when I got there because the pictures on the internet is not what I arrived to. Nonetheless, The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. During the stay we received a lovely and filling complimentary Christmas which I think was well appreciated by everyone. Areas of improvement is a wider variety of breakfast for non-pork eaters.

Our stay with my friends was fantastic. A very quiet place and suitable for family visit. more activities at the guest house can more fun at the place.
