Trees, mountains, tranquility and birds complete the picture at Monate Rest Camp, an exclusive and well-maintained resort situated on a farm in the heart of the bushveld, in the Nyl Valley.

Our excellent and clean, self-catering chalets consist of two-, four- six- and 10 sleeper units, all comprising a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, TV, fridge, stove, microwave, fans, and braai facilities. Breakfast and dinner are also available on request.

Monate Rest Camp is a short drive outside of Mokopane, on the Mokhophong road, and provides under cover parking, with electronically controlled access and electric fencing, making Monate a safe and worry-free resort.

Not happy at all by

I guess the place is a nice one and good quite place and nice rooms. The only problem is that the information map is misleading and misguiding which is dishonest on your part. Secondly the contact person is never on place and was not helpful at all, made to feel one is a problem for asking for own moneys worth. Thank but no thanks, not monate but sour.

Serene and tranquil by

We initially wanted to stay for one night, but ended up staying for 2 nights as we were impressed by the tranquility and serenity of the place, above all else. The swimming pool was in superb condition. We are a family of 5 , 2 teenagers, a baby , wifey and I.
