In the Vineyard

In the Vineyard cottages are situated on Uitkyk farm, a small family-owned vineyard and olive farm nestled at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountains. We are surrounded by lush vineyards and stunning 360-degree scenery. Centred between Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl and only a 45-minute drive from the city of Cape Town, In the Vineyard takes you away from the busy city life and offers peace and relaxation.

While staying in one of our homely cottages, you will experience the feeling of a working farm, but will still enjoy the beauty and peace of nature that surrounds you. Our two cottages, namely The Vineyard cottage and The Olive cottage each accommodates up to five guests in two bedrooms, with a choice of a king-size bed or two single beds in the room. We also have an additional double sleeper couch in the living area.

We are child-friendly and your little ones can enjoy playing on a safe farmyard, with security fencing all around. Each cottage features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a bath, a TV with DStv and a Jetmaster in the living area. Braai facilities are available on the patio and secure parking is also provided.

Activities include taking leisurely walks through the vineyards, swimming in the cement dam, enjoying wine tasting at some of our famous South African wine estates, and visiting the nearby Crocodile Farm, Butterfly World or Lion Park.
