The apartment is located within the 'Paardevlei Estate' which is a gated semi-secure 'mixed use' estate including residential homes and apartments.

The area is very peaceful and quiet at night. It is modern, spacious and comfortable with most items you'd need on hand to enjoy a short or long stay. It's your home away from home whether you're here for business or pleasure.

The apartment is a 20-minute drive on the N2 Freeway from the Cape Town International Airport.

Spacious apartment, great location by

We stayed at 103 The Vynide. It's situated in Paardevlei estate, very close to Somerset Mall. The apartment is tastefully decorated, spacious and clean. There is a coffee shop downstairs and another within walking distance. Also some coffee, tea and sugar provided on arrival. On some sites it stated there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the unit. We booked based on this information as we travelled with small kids for two weeks. There is a washing machine, but no dryer or even drying rack. They did however bring us a drying rack upon request. Also something that was not mentioned on initial booking - you have to pay a R2000 breakage deposit upfront on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend staying at The Vynide.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge, microwave, tv, etc. It's clean, quiet, secure, and well located in Somerset West - Paardevlei is also a lovely place to walk around with young kids.
