Bosveldrus Guest House is situated in Vaalwater and offers lovely overnight accommodation. Vaalwater is considered the central town of the Waterberg District.

We have six rondavels sleeping two guests in each, and a camping area with electrical points and ablution facilities. The rondavels and campsites are set among shady bushveld trees and are easily accessible off the main road through town. Breakfast is available by prior arrangement only.

Vaalwater is situated in the uppermost reaches of the Mokolo River and the village is surrounded by farms and reserves offering plenty of opportunities for adventure activities and outdoor pursuits including game and bird watching, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking and 4x4 trails.

Peaceful and decent accomodation by

Enjoyed our stay. Only stayed over 1 night, but accommodation was decent and staff very friendly.

Bosveldrus by

We spent 2 nights in winter. This is a simple but very correct place. Good breakfast, good facilities, friendly and quiet, our daughter enjoyed the playground. It would have just had a heater in the room, it was a bit cold. There is a good restaurant 5 minutes walk. I recommend this place.



Sadly, the stay was not memorable.  The accommodation was more like I imagine an old school dormitory would have been, with no toilet roll holder, stained carpets and a hole in the cupboard door which someone's boot would have caused. The curtains were so thin that the security lights shone through into the room, and then there were the noisy neighbours at midnight.

By the way, there was no mention of breakfast.

No value for money.


Unfortunately there is no highlight on our stay at this establishment by

No fridge in the rondavel. It was not mentioned that is NO FRIDGE or there is a FRIDGE available. No access to swimming pool. Is was covered with a tarpaulin and underneath water is green & filthy. No television in the rooms although it was mentioned that there is television. No DSTV as according to cleaner, account not paid. Not a memorable stay at all!!!
