Belfield is a family run boutique wine estate situated in the middle of the beautiful Elgin Valley 1.5km from the N2 on the Viljoenshoop Road.

This special place is ideal for friends or family looking for a tranquil get away on a working farm. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, the old leafy homestead garden and the indigenous gardens which have been planted in between the vineyards.

Wine tasting also available by appointment.

Wonderful relaxing stay by

My wife, daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Belfield. We wish we could've stayed longer. Mike and Mel were excellent hosts. The cottage was comfortable and relaxing and we will definitely be back.



We had such a peaceful and restful stay.

We had a very pleasant stay - the cottages are set on a beautiful property. We stayed in Oak, which was well equipped and comfortable.

We arrived and were met by the lovely owners. We had booked 2 of the cottages namely Oak and Shiraz. They had everything you could possibly wish for. Both were very spacious, clean, tidy and tasteful. A real home from home. I was so relaxed as the children could have free rein initially in the enclosed garden and then ride their bikes around the property very safely. We had lovely a super time, relaxed braais and popped a few times to the Peregrine Farm stall for some tasty extras. Thank you!! We will be back.
