Elandsrus Country Lodge

Elandsrus Country Lodge is situated in the Three Sisters area which is a well-known landmark for all travelling on the N1 between Johannesburg and Cape Town. While Elandsfontein Farm is an active working sheep farm, it is also host to guests wanting to stay amongst the beautiful surroundings that the Karoo has to offer.

The old farmhouse was built in 1924 and renovated in 2003. It offers two farm-style rooms with en-suite bathrooms for guests. Whether you are sitting outside enjoying nature and the bush or using the indoor facilities, you will experience space, peace, quiet and true Karoo hospitality.

The lodge has four en-suite rooms with a large entertainment area for everyone to relax in, self-catering facilities as well as four braai areas. For those wanting to try true Karoo hospitality and home-made meals, dinner and breakfast are served in the dinging room of the farmhouse.

For the adventurous, the farm offers many roads to walk and enjoy a vast amount of bird life, small antelope and a diverse array of vegetation with the sounds of nature. Bring your mountain bike along for rides with breathtaking views, and as you may have heard, the most beautiful stars light up the sky at night.
