Mthembuskloof Country Lodge

Mthembuskloof Country Lodge in Pieterskraal is located 105 kilometers outside Pretoria and at the foot of the Magalapeng hills. The lodge offers a peaceful getaway outside the city.

Accommodation is available in four chalets and two luxury tent rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The lodge can accommodate 12 guests. The chalets overlook a leafy garden veranda and offer easy access to the pool. Each chalet has air-conditioning, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a mini bar.

The tent rooms are nestled amidst the natural flora and offer a more exclusive bushveld experience with a view of the Magalapeng hills. The rooms have a kitchenette equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities and a mini bar. Braai facilities are also available.

Guests can relax by the pool while enjoying a drink or visit the Mountain View Bistro's restaurant and bar with mountain views. There is also a boma area. For small, intimate functions such as a wedding, birthday party, team building, business break, or just a family reunion, the lodge has a beautiful garden to create an atmosphere and picturesque setting for any occasion.

Outdoor enthusiasts can take part in guided walks through the Mthembuskloof hills with a variety of bird life. Overnight stay in tents can be arranged on the hills for this activity. The lodge welcomes motorcyclists and offers guided off-road excursions in the hills and surroundings. Guests can bring their own bikes, or they can rent one of the 250cc off-road bikes or quad bikes. The lodge can also arrange boat trips on the Rust De Winter Dam, which is 60 km away.
