The malaria-free Madikwena Game Farm and Crocodile Ranch lies in the heart of the Groot Marico Bushveld where you are welcomed by irrigated pastures, surrounded by citrus trees and olive groves. We offer comfortable accommodation and a wide range of activities. The game farm offers three rustic cottages with warm timber furnishings. The cottages are fully self-catering and also have braai facilities just outside each cottage. The cottages each have a large fully equipped kitchen as well as a comfortably furnished lounge area and a wooden dining room table. The bedrooms have wooden frame beds and all linen is provided.The Madikwena Crocodile Ranch has 600 breeder crocodiles and 4500 growing crocodiles. Madikwena Game Farm, is only 80 km away from Sun City, and encircled by the flowing Groot Marico Rivers.

Really enjoyed sunset watching game from our patio. Lovely place, good value by Caroline White, South Africa 11 July 2013 We had very enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The chalets are beautifully furnished. Our hosts were thoughtful in that our braai fire was made every afternoon with plenty of wood supplied and reading material was on hand. We enjoyed walking around the game farm and the buck wandered around our chalet freely. We also enjoyed visiting the Buddhist retreat and the arty coffee shop in Groot Marico. In summer it is worth visiting the eye of the Groot Marico river -very beautiful and clear for swimming. I can recommend Madikwena for excellent value and comfort with friendly hosts. I can really recommend Madikwena ,even as a stopover on route to Botswana .Thanks to all the staff and people involved, you will surely see us again .

They have obviously made a serious effort to provide a high standard of service to clients.
The only negative factor is, I think, beyond their control; there was very loud shabeen type music pounding out late into the nights on both the Friday and Saturday when we were there. Peace and tranquility, but by Brian Barger 05 April 2018 Chalet was spacious with well laid out wooden furnishings. A very clever braai set up and log fire boma.
