Lapha Phalala is home in the budding town of Ellisras in Lephalale, a popular stopover for travellers en route to Botswana and the Okavango Delta.

Accommodation is offered in four chalets which provide a rustic yet well-equipped night's stay. Each chalet has two bedrooms with four single beds, a living room with an equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Travellers can recharge their road trailers here, as well as recoup before crossing the border into the wild bush of Botswana.

The region of Lephalale is abundant in wildlife including the Big 5 which can be viewed at one of several private game reserves in the area. Activities in the area include birdwatching, game drives in open vehicles, guided walks or a round of golf at the highly recommended Mogol Golf Course.

All in all, you are bound to have an adventure.

Cozy Cottage by

We slept over at Lapha Phalala on our way to Botswana. The cottage was very basic but cozy and had everything one needs. The owners was very friendly and waited up for us till late when we arrived. The only downside is the gravel road of 14km. But other than that, we had a pleasant stay.
