Klondyke Farm is a working fruit farm with apples, pears, and cherries. Situated less thank two hours' drive from Cape Town, 30 km on the other side of Ceres, off the R46. Accommodation is provided in three self-catering cottages, ideal for couples and families. The cottages are all fully equipped for self-catering. All the cottages include bedding, towels, heaters and electric blankets. There are no TVs. The kitchens include stoves, fridges, microwaves, toasters and coffee-making facilities. Each cottage has an indoor fireplace and braai facilities.8 Campsite with electricity points available Klondyke Farm is situated at 1200 metres above sea level, where summers are cooler and the winters are crisp.

Setting is amazing, overlooking a large duckpond, with the Matroosberg mountains in the distance. Peacefull and tranquil. Well appointed kitchen with seating, tiled area for cooking, two seating areas outside, one for braaing with loads of wood available, firelighters and matches provided too. Incredibly effective fireplace inside. The owner, Alan, made a point of coming to introduce himself and welcoming us. No cellphone reception in the cottage - wonderful! But a signal can be found a short walk away. HIghly recommended. Quiet relaxing getaway by Kim Gordon 22 March 2017 Fantastic little cottage next to a pond, has everything you need for a self-catering weekend away. We really liked the wood and blitz that was supplied, one less thing to find space for in the car! Alan was welcoming and friendly, as were the two beautiful Alsatians that came with us for walks around the farm. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing spot to get out of the city... and the bed was so comfortable, we both had better sleep than at home! Would definitely go back. The quite natural sounds of the birds which we miss just after getting home.
The open space, pine cone collecting, having chats with the gentleman and his dog.
I am going to be coming back and with my Angel as I know she will enjoy it as much.

Thanks guy's for an awesome weekend and awesome birthday. The fireplace! by Andrew Greeff 17 November 2017 I enjoyed the stay in nature accompanied by birdsong and ducks flapping about in the pond. It is quiet and peaceful.
Up in the mountain it tends to get considerably colder than in Ceres town, did not realise that but the fireplace was awesome!
I missed my wake-up coffee, thought that was included in the cottage, Had I known I would have brought some along.
