Formerly known as Outjo Backpackers, we changed the name to Kai-Oms, which is a word used by the Damara people and means big house. We have carefully renovated and redecorated all the buildings and are especially proud of our communal kitchen.
Kai-Oms Backpackers offers self-catering units, Family Rooms, Dormitories and Campsites with braai facilities. We are situated in the small town of Outjo which is known to many as the gateway to Etosha Pan and, of course, the world famous Etosha National Park.
