The first surprise was the enormous garden and the second the cosy accommodation, well designed sleeping room and living.
The kitchen is simple. Amazing, relaxing and tranquil by Henry Wood, United Kingdom 18 July 2011 We loved our stay at Hornbills. Were welcomed back in the early evening after a drive to St Matthews with a fire having been lit for us in the sitting room hearth. The main rooms are spacious and open with a view of the forest and the start of the Fairie walk. Thank you, we will cherish our memories of the time we spent here for years to come. Cottage was basic but spacious and all we needed as a base for the weekend. Loved the indoor fireplace for the cold evenings.
