Horizon Cottage

Horizon Cottage was built in 1950s with views across to the Wattle Company in the north and Mozambique in the east. In the entrance hall is diagram of the mountains that can be seen on a clear day.

This house has four bedrooms with built-in cupboards and some with en-suite bathrooms. The dining room suite seats eight guests. The lounge has a large, comfortable lounge suite and a small flat-screen television with a DStv connection; guests would need to bring along their own decoder and smart card. Connecting to the lounge is a sun lounge with large windows and there is a veranda opening onto the front lawn. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Paths around the property have been cleared for you to walk on and reach the rocks on the far side. You can take a circular walk and venture down into the ravine below.
