Hemel op Aarde is set in the popular holiday town of Mossel Bay. The area's commercial harbour is lively, while the undoubted attraction to the town is the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the many surf and watersport spots.

This beach house has two bedrooms each with a double bed. There are two bathrooms, with the main bedroom featuring an en-suite, and the second room making use of a guest bathroom. The spacious living area is comfortably furnished and comprises a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen if fitted with a fridge, a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher and all the necessary appliances and utensils.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a braai on the balcony and enjoy the stunning sea view. Additional facilities include; DStv, a DVD player, a washing machine and a tumble drier.

This was our last stop as we traveled down the Garden Route towards Cape Town. We were at Hemel op Aarde for 3 days. we arrived at the Point Village managing office around 5 pm. When we arrived we were told they had forgotten to clean the unit and we couldn't check in yet. Check in was stated as 1 pm. We decided to run to the supermarket and pick up supplies while the unit was cleaned. When we returned at 6:30, it still was not ready although the people cleaning were very apologetic. The unit was fine but just didn't seem to be all put together. There were a few issues when we arrived but were taken care of. It did have a lovely view from the deck and we really enjoyed our morning coffee watching for dolphins and seals. My biggest complaint/suggestion is the 2nd bath shower. It's floor is the same level as the bathroom floor and water pours everywhere. It was kind of strange to me. Also the bedding on the 2nd bedroom beds are too small and it was hard to keep them on the bed. Other than that, we had a great time in Mossel Bay and enjoyed exploring the area.
