Wakkerstroom Groenvlei Chalets

Wakkerstroom Groenvlei chalets are situated 9km outside Wakkerstroom on a farm overlooking beautiful green hills, nestled between the Wakkerstroom Mountains. Here two fountains provide the sweetest water to drink for the chalet. TAKE NOTE: It is a gravelroad of 10km, I would prefer you don't come with a low vehicle. A lot of low vehicles do travel these roads, but I don't want my guests to say I didn't mention it to them.Wakkerstroom is increasingly becoming the destination of choice for people who want to spend time in an environment that encourages total relaxation with the opportunity to indulge in fun-filled activities. If you need peace and tranquillity this country life is needed. One cottage available that varies from a rustic stone cottage. The cottage can sleep four people. Two rooms with two en-suite bathrooms. The two three-quarter bedroom is spacious with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has two single beds, a bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. A fully equipped kitchen includes a four sitter table, a two plate stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer. The chalet has panoramic views of the mountains around Groenvlei and Wakkerstroom. The chalet is provided with dish washing liquid, linen and bath towels, hand soap, toilet paper, coffee, tea, rusks, and milk in the fridge. Every bed has its own electric blanket and heaters are in the chalet. The taste of fountain water, the view, the fresh air, all gives you excellent rest. Activities available include bird watching, 4x4 trails, organised off-road bike rides, hiking and scenic drives. In the surrounding area activities include fishing and horse riding. Excellent bird watching opportunities in this area with more than 100 species recorded in three days by a bird guide from KwaZulu-Natal. The town offers art galleries, a pub and restaurants.
