Forested Away is a space to indulge, unwind and reconnect. Surrounded by sub-tropical forest and close to salty surf breaks, we offer two bespoke cottages, lovingly designed with simple yet beautiful interiors.

Located on a former sugar cane farm, our family have slowly been reforesting the land over the last two decades. Today you'll find a mix of buck, mongooses, bushbabies, monkeys and a cacophony of birds. Most of the trees you'll see were planted by our family, and you'll find a magical mix of the interesting, edible and indigenous.

Andrew and Louise are your hosts, passionate about our garden, making beautiful things and our animals. Forested Away is our space to embrace more of the things that are important to us. The cottages are full of things we've up-cycled, re-used, made ourselves, or sourced from local businesses to make for us. We hope you love them as much as we do.
