El Shadai Guest House is situated in the Magalies Mountains overlooking the Hartbeespoort Dam, with magnificent views. El Shadai, meaning "more than enough" is all you need to breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This secure guest house is a modern-style building with large panoramic windows and balconies with glass balustrades. Accommodation consists of four spacious Suites, each with an en-suite bath and separate shower, and quality furniture in a more contemporary style.

Hartbeespoort Dam is less than an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Known as Harties to the locals, it has become a hive of activity and is a very popular weekend getaway between the two cities.

We really had a great time at El Shadia. The owners really looked after us. We were very happy with their service.

It's a beautiful place. We had an awesome holiday. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The hospitality was great. I will definately refer El Shadai to everyone we know and we will definately be back soon.

We had a great one night stay over. El Shadai was clean, neat with crisp linen and everything worked. The views are great and our hosts, Suzanne and Talent was friendly and helpful. Well situated with most stunning night time views. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

We received a warm welcome by Peter and gave us a tour around the house. The breakfast was best for both days. Nice part is that it was different on both days. I would suggest that they give a different welcome basket contents. And if there could be new face cloth provided. It's unhygienic to share that.
