EcoDome Self-catering

We are an off the grid farm and eco-dome accommodation site, with waterless toilets, gray water wetlands, & off the electrical grid. So if you like the wide open spaces, stars and the milky way at night we will see you soon.

Walk through Renosterbos, Pomegranate orchards and a labyrinth of love. If you love classic Overberg BIG SKY, then step away from the hustle and bustle, rest & relax or walk, run, cycle in a tranquil peaceful space.

We have dogs and cats on the farm and I am sure that the dogs will come say hello at some stage. They friendly and enjoy pats (although some are shy) - but please do not feed them.

We are an off the grid establishment and encourage our guests to relax and unwind in the countryside - so we have no public access wifi

We have three eco-dome units, each is set up to ensure big open sky views in an eco-sensitive environment with a minimal footprint. The toilets are all waterless, the excess water from the Dome goes into a developing gray water wetland. Electricity is supplied by our, off the grid solar system.

There are tranquil walks in our labyrinth, through our pomegranate orchards, and renosterbos rambles. You can relax in the hammock sunk into your deck or gaze at the sunset and evening starts at our star deck. You can chat to Mike and Sandy about the off the grid eco-friendly lifestyle ? right down to our 350m² green house, heavy with veggies, herbs and more.

We have walks and rest areas on the farm and the surrounding countryside can be visited by trail running, mountain biking or day trips in your car. Or you can book an excursion with us to a local wine farm for tastings
