SONDELA & SPA CHALETS (78 %) Fantastic swimming pools, rooms were so nice by Takalani Ungani Sunday, 26 September 2021 Roads, the brushes next to roads need to be trimmed. The roads need to o be watered to reduce dust. Disastrous by Lindie Van Rensburg Wednesday, 13 April 2022 It was by far the worst holiday experience ever. Safari did not notify Sondela about our booking. On arrival at 14h00 no one knew we were coming. The chalet was not ready and we could only book in at 16h00. The 2 young ladies at reception were so rude that we wanted to leave. The road was horrendous. You cannot travel inside Sondela without a 4x4 vehicle. The chalet was clean but not very stylish. The furniture is old and outdated. The beds are the bare minimum and definitely not close to 5 star.
The large swimming pool was not hot.
Needless to say I will not be using Safari again to book and never ever go so Sondela again. Not value for money.
