River Rapids Guesthouse offers beautiful rooms with tranquil surroundings on the Orange River Bank.

The guesthouse has three bedrooms with private bathrooms, of which each unit also has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, two plate stove, kettle, cutlery, tea, coffee, milk and bottled water. Also DStv, Wi-Fi Internet access.

Guests are encouraged to visit Ria Huysamen's Aloe Garden and Prieska Museum.

Fantastic accomadation with lovely views of the Orange river. All the facilities anyone could want. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We believe some construction is under way. Some changes that will enhance use of bathrooms: 1 the bath/shower is somewhat inconvenient for elderly people. 2 The washbasin is too high and has a very uncomfortable addition towards the person using it. This means the person must lean forward very far, together with the hight it makes it very uncomfortable, especially for short people. Although we are serious nature lovers, the frogs were somewhat disturbing during the night. We believe it was probably the kind of frog that was more noisy than expected. We did not factor this into the rating.
