The Mzimkulu River hosts kayaking, skiing and boat trips to be enjoyed. A noticeable feature of the Mzimkulu River is the Port Shepstone lighthouse. Visitors are allowed to explore this bright feature.

Beginner divers and enthusiasts can experience the beauty of the coral reefs. Dolphin and whale watching are a must and the sardine run occurs over the months of June and July. A great outing for the kids is Crocworld. This is a reptile park which is located near Scottburgh, about 65 km north of Port Shepstone.

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful accommodation during our recent trip to the South Coast. Not only was the house impeccable, but I must also commend the owners for the fantastic service they gave us with regards to the DStv service. We were extremely impressed with the quick an efficient manner in which they arranged for a replacement device. The house, excellent service and wonderful location ensured a very memorable and enjoyable trip.

What a beautiful house. It has all the facilities needed for a family, such as a dishwasher and washing machine. I recommend this house for any family. We were nine people all-in-all and the house is very modern and very spacious, and also has a pool with a safety net. The house is very close to Shelly Beach and all activities.
