Sun Valley Place is a three star Self-catering Apartment situated on the beautiful Knysna Lagoon and set between palm trees and an exotic garden. It is private, luxurious, well appointed and comfortable, accommodating up to four guests. Its unique location, elevated position and complete separation from the main residence make it very private and perfectly suited for couples and honeymooners.

The property is within walking distance of Knysna town centre and is also close to all amenities such as the lagoon ferries, shopping malls, restaurants, golf courses, the Knysna Quays and beaches. Sun Valley Place always welcomes guests with a complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. A basket of seasonal fruit also welcomes our booked guests on arrival.

This is the ideal holiday venue for families who enjoy the water, boating and fishing. We are avid cyclists and have lots of cyclists come and stay with us. A boat can be moored on our floating jetty with prior arrangements and a double canoe is always available for our guests to use at their leisure. The large garden provides plenty of space for the children to play safely.

Guests can bring fishing rods to fish from the jetty or from the shores of the lagoon.

Our stay at Sun Valley Place was marvelous. The hosts are friendly people. Everything about that place is superb. Actually, it'll take me the whole day just to explain. Sun Valley Place is what you can call a home away from home. Our next trip to Knysna won't be complete if we can't get a booking at Sun Valley.

Knysna is beautiful, and Sun Valley Place was the perfect place for our stay - a cosy, well-equipped, comfortable space with lots of light, and plenty of beautiful views. Marion and Loucas are wonderful hosts. We would definitely like to have another holiday here.

We loved the location. The cleanliness and totally comfortable. Everything you could possibly need. Treats like fruit and chocolates and the hosts are delightful. They definitely go more than the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay. Will visit again.




Sun Valley Place ? Great place to stay

My wife and I spent nine nights at Sun Valley Place in Kynsna during February ?18 and can totally recommend it.

The 1 bedroom apartment / flatlet can actually also accommodate two others (younger people perhaps) in the bunk beds located in the main living room area.

The property is in a very quiet location yet only a few minutes drive ? and a reasonable walk along the lagoon side ? from the main town centre area of town.

The standard of the housekeeping to the apartment is excellent and our hosts also left all manner of extras which we really appreciated. Never obtrusive, they were always on hand to ensure we had everything we required.

Not surprisingly we will be looking to stay again at Sun Valley Place the next time we travel to this wonderful part of the world.

The area has a peaceful serenity about it. Absolutely beautiful and not to mention a real warm welcome. Upon arrival I was surprised that the accommodation had everything, usually we need to take along what ever we require. But Loucas and Marion really outdone themselves. Always making sure we are ok asking if we had a good nights rest. We truly enjoyed ourselves especially our boys who loved the apartment. Real value and true hospitality.
