The cozy Damhuis perches on the edge of the farm dam and is a rustic, one-room cottage with a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. The Damhuis sleeps guests in single beds and has a wooden deck with braai facilities overhanging the water. With its no-nonsense atmosphere, the cottage is ideal for informal, water-loving family get-aways. Please note that use is made of solar light, warm water is available for showering and a gas hob and fridge can be used - no electricity.

Amazing escape from everything! by

My partner and I loved the isolation of the cabin, it was so quiet and secluded and peaceful. While water levels are low, we still managed to paddle across the dam in skis (provided). We braaied both nights, drank rum and played chess. Perfect break from the business of life.
