1692 DE KLEIJNE BOS COUNTRY HOUSE (90 %) Superb Stay by Wessel Swart, South Africa 30 December 2013 I recently had the privelage of concluding my Cape Town honeymoon at De Kleijne Bos Country house, and am pleased with the house, the quality of the furnishings, hospitality of the staff, and the hostess.
It was an absolute pleasure staying there and I would most definitly return to the country house whenever I return to Cape Town. De Kleijne Bos by Gary Hart, South Africa 15 February 2016 My wife and I checked in on the 12th of Feb 2016 and out on the 14th. The location is stunning in the wine estate heartland. On arrival we were met by Marietta who was very helpful. She did some administration with us and then took us to out room which was in an adjacent building. There are three rooms there. The room was stunning and as expected. It was clean and very luxurious. A nice big king sized bed. Bath and Shower available. DSTV and aircon. And a small bar fridge. She explained all and left. The next morning at breakfast the seating placements for all the guests is around one large table which is the only negative. We were there for the Valentine's weekend and also celebrating our anniversary and would definitely preferred individual tables for us. The other recommendation is to perhaps have a bottle of water or two for each of the rooms. All in all a wonderful weekend and venue. Gary Charming, homely guesthouse by Candile Ploos, South Africa 05 December 2016 I stayed at 1692 De Kleijne Bos Country house from 27th November 2016 until 4 December 2016. Overall the experience was wonderful, staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming and the managers Mariette and Joey are super friendly and genuine. The guesthouse itself is very tastefully decorated and comfortable and the property is really stunning, set among the vineyards with the mountains as a backdrop. So relaxing and tranquil. I really could not fault much. Would definitely go back for another stay. If I am super critical. The breakfast could have included croissants or something similar as I do not eat pork products and not to fond of egg so early in the morning, but honestly the breakfast offering was always delicious and the fruit platters so beautifully presented. Do yourself a favour and give this wonderful guesthouse a try! you will not be sorry. They were so accommodating. Farm stay by Annamia Van Den Heever 06 December 2017 Great break while working.
