In the midst of a very run-down town is this gracious old house filled with a sense of historical character throughout. The place requires a little maintenance but is still very comfortable - especially the Lord Fraser room. Limited hospitality experienced - maybe because it was 'quiet season'.

Sadly Wepener as a town is really run down so the overall impression wasn't very good, however, to steal another's words, the Lord Fraser Guest house really is a little haven in this town and the lodging was very comfy, and the food good with really generous portions. Good spot for an overnight on way somewhere. The pool was however empty when we were there, perhaps its being maintained/fixed up?
