Fiddlewood Fields is a beautiful guest house, set in quiet, lush gardens in the city of Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Owned and managed by Kurt & Ros Schwechheimer, the accommodation options are suitable for individuals, couples, friends and families. We are located close to St Andrew's College, St Andrew's Prep, DSG and are a short drive away from Kingswood College and Rhodes University.


All rooms contain extra length king-size, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath, and the rooms are serviced daily.

In addition, there is a comfortable seating area where guests can watch television on a flat screen, and a small kitchen area is equipped with a kettle, bar fridge, toaster, microwave, crockery, and cutlery. Cereals, milk, tea, filter coffee, and rusks are also provided. All rooms overlook a beautiful garden full of trees and prolific with bird life.

The accommodation is excellent with everything that you need at hand. Comfortable and homely with the final touches (like the chocolates) providing a special feeling.

Nice time by

The stay was ok, the facilities were excellent, however the breakfast was burnt. The staff was friendly.
