Wolfkloof Boerdery is a working farm and there is always someone around to assist with any queries or help to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We give our guests space to explore and enjoy the farm. You are welcome to become involved with the farming activities for a few hours, on many occasions we can use the help or just a friend on the side! While in Swellendam, there are plenty of highlights to explore, including the Drostdy Museum, the Faerie Sanctuary, Wildebraam Liqueur tasting, golfing, game drives, picnics, and maybe even an Umshanti river cruise.

WOLFKLOOF BOERDERY BEWERTUNGEN (73 %) Stunningly beautiful situation by Michael Craig 03 February 2018 I loved the position. I booked the rustic cottage which was ok. I didn't mind no electricity- gas was fine. The outdoor shower was superb. The cottage was quaint and clean. Some problems. As far as I know and my recent experience if using gas in my own home it is against regulations to have gas bottles inside. These should be outside. The gas freezer smelt bad. In fact it smelt of rotten meat. The toilet facilities were way too basic. You basically use a broken chair with a bucket underneath. The view is great but if you need some privacy you need better.
An outside long drop would have been adequate although I have an aversion to them going back to my childhood. With some minor improvements this cottage would be an absolute gem. For R475 a night I expected the basics to be covered. Hygiene is a basic. I have paid less for better on this trip.
Signage off the R40 is problematic. A good size sign and then small boards along the farm road would have been helpful. When you are driving alone it is difficult to refer to your email. Google Maps though was spot on.
This place has massive potential! I wish the owner all the best. A must if for the perfect breakaway of city life by Christo Leone 18 February 2018 Great location just outside of town. Quiet with amazing views. The dogs are very friendly and one even guided us to the dam, constantly checking back if we were OK. The forest hike to the dam was magical. Will definitely return. Amazing farm house experience. Good scenery by Eugene Esau 03 March 2018 The main bedroom was fine, the other bedroom needed a good spring clean (actually the entire house ) there were lots of giant dead ants laying around which wasn't nice to see.
The crockery was ancient and lacked proper bowls etc
