The Whitehouse Inn is a historical building, built in 1905, offering travellers a variety of accommodation options. Situated in the heart of Southerland, it boasts warm hospitality and the perfect stop for both the hot summers and snowy winters.

The accommodation is provided in six spacious room all with bedding and bath towels provided. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms while others makes use of a shared bathroom and separate toilet. The Inn boasts a fully licensed bar on the premises and a restaurant area where breakfasts, light lunches and dinners will be served.

Guest are invited to come and relax in the cosy lounge area, enjoy a drink at the bar while socializing with other travellers and locals. Stargazing tours can be arranged on request.

Home away from home by

i had an amazing stay at the Whitehouse Inn. Cathy and her husband are great hosts. The room was fantastic, the service and good and the food was amazing. The Mars Bar was great too. Great friendly service throughout my stay.

Everyone should be staying at the Whitehouse Inn. It looks dilapidated from the pics online and from the outside when you first see it, however the inside is amazing. And as for the outside, it adds to the appeal as it is an old building.

Lovely historical building in the centre of town with very welcoming hosts. Cathy is an excellent chef and leaves no stone unturned to ensure you have a good meal and a comfortable stay. Great place to meet the locals. We will be back!!
