The Barnacle is situated in the best possible position in Pringle Bay - where the river mouth enters the sea; with spectacular mountain, river and Cape Point views.4 Self Catering Units and a 'Bed Only' room allow up to 18 people in total to stay. Otter's Lair - the prime unit has a double bedroom plus additional double bunks with open plan shower, basin and toilet downstairs and vast open plan living/dining/kitchen area upstairs with open fireplace. This leads onto a large deck with braai and stunning views. There is no TV in any of our units. Milkwood is the smallest self catering unit sleeping two adults in a double bed, small lounge and kitchenette with full bathroom. There is an outside braai. Mongoose sleeps two adults and two children in a large, open plan room with double bed and double bunk with a full bathroom. A generous lounge/dining area with open fireplace and well equipped kitchen. Private veranda with braai plus a sun deck. Next door at 574 Anne Road are two additional units. Mussel Pot sleeps 4 people in one open plan unit with kitchenette and full bathroom. Deck with a braai included. Oyster Bed sleeps two people in a double en-suite bedroom with NO cooking facilities. Access to these two is at 574 Anne Road. There is free wi-fi in all units and off road parking. Situated in the beautiful Kogelberg Biosphere with thousands of unique plant species, a birdwatcher's delight, with walking and cycling trails, or just relax on the beach, float on your back in the river or count the stars at night.

Pringles Bay getaway by

Clean comfortable rooms with tea/coffee facilities - and to our delight equipped with wine glasses so that we could relax on the verandah looking onto the pretty garden and distant mountain as the sun went down. A private launch area with two kayaks; two steps to the river as it makes its way into the sea and two more steps to the beach. Quiet, beautiful and serene. Would love to go again.

MILKWOOD. The unit was compact but efficient. The servicing of the cottage was excellent. Location to the river and beach was heaven. Discovered that Pringle Bay is a 'little gem'.
