Rainbird Chalets Bed and Breakfast is set on a working farm and welcomes the discerning guest, offering a tranquil stay in the magnificent lush and scenic valley of Malkerns. The views are exquisite, with a dam set at the bottom of the garden and the Mdzimba Mountain Range beyond. Malkerns is a Malaria-free area.

The valley is set between Mbabane and Manzini, the two main cities of Swaziland. The beautiful gardens, dam and wetlands are alive with bird life. Bass fishing in the dam on a catch and release basis is very popular. The friendly staff are always on hand to help you. There is a laundry service and one can access the Internet in the main house. There are many good restaurants close by for a choice of lunches and dinners. The airport is a 15-minute drive away and your hosts are more than happy to provide transport if required.

Each chalet boasts either a fully equipped kitchen or a kitchenette for self-catering, air-conditioning, DStv and other luxurious comforts. One can choose from two double room chalets which is ideal for families, or the single room chalets overlooking the dam, ideal for a romantic getaway. All chalets and the double room have private entrances. There are barbecue facilities which is a must to savour the beautiful African sunsets and share your experience with other guests. We offer a pool and dam for those hot summer days. You may even come face to face with our resident otters.

Generous English and continental breakfasts are served on the patio overlooking the swimming pool, sweeping gardens, dam and lush green mountains. For lunch and dinner Bed and Breakfast residents can visit one of the many popular restaurants nearby.
