Melissa's Guest House is the ideal stop over from Swakopmund on your way to Opuwo or the Etosha National Park.Guests can relax in one of our 18 en-suite rooms after their long journey. In the evening we serve dinner from 6 pm until 8 pm which you can enjoy in our peaceful garden or restaurant. During the day you can also have a nice lunch and enjoy a cold beer for stop over before you drive further. When staying at Melissa's Guesthouse you can visit the himba village or peet alberts rock engravings.

We had a fantastic, if short, stay at Oase Garni in the midst of a gruelling road trip around Namibia. The end of a long, if stunning, day's driving from Swakop saw my friend and I arrive into Kamanjab in need of a beer and a good night's sleep. Welcomed at the door of the guest house by owner Eben, we were swiftly shown to our excellent and comfortable room, before being treated to a superb meal of oryx steak and garlic bread. The place was bustling and friendly, the beer was cold, the Wi-Fi was fast, and what else can I add? Stay here.

the middle of nowhere and hot ! by

Very small, dark room, no AC, no kettle, no fridge.
Lovely pool.  The diner was great, but took houres to prepare.  Stepping in the kitchen is like going back a century !   The bar had very little choice, almost no wine. 
There is little or no competition out here,.. So ...
But we had a good time and a quiet night.
