Dwaalfontein Lodge offers self-catering accommodation in a rural farm setting. The accommodation is ideal for families looking for a quiet retreat in the central Karoo.

The large farm has two smaller cottages that can accommodate five people and a large farmhouse that can accommodate up to eight people. Each unit has its own fully equipped kitchen, but breakfast is available on request. Each cottage has a braai facility and the Farmhouse has a lapa with a braai area.

The farm has numerous activities for guests to enjoy including hiking trails, game viewing, birdwatching and swimming. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and a night sky filled with starts. The town of Hanover is only 15 km away.

Tranquil Karoo farm atmosphere by

Absolutely loved our overnight stay at Dwaalfontein. Accommodation was delightful, clean and met all our expectations. Hostess was hospitable and attentive but not intrusive. The serenity of a Karoo farm atmosphere was just what we needed after the hectic traffic on the N1. Only sad we could not stay longer but will definitely return.
