Come enjoy the serene and tranquil beauty of Matjiesvlei, situated at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains between Calitzdorp and Ladismith, where farming dates back as far as 1821.

Indulge in the comfort of one of our four historic and quaint self-catering cottages nestled in this picturesque valley. Each cottage offers an equipped kitchen, barbecue facilities, bedding, oil lamps, candles, and hot water.

If you prefer being even closer to nature try our camping site, Die Dam Rivierkamp, situated on the shores of the Gamka River. The River Camp is a shady 4x4 bush camp with modern ablution blocks and hot water, situated on the banks of the Gamka River.

Die Wahuis is designed for a couple to enjoy a breath-taking view of manicured lucerne fields, the winding Gamka River and the majestic Swartberg Mountain Range. The restored building includes a double bedroom, sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and stoep with a braai.
