Die Ou Winkeltjie

Die Ou Winkeltjie is an idyllic self-catering cottage in Merweville designed to accommodate four guests and offers a tranquil stay in the Upper Karoo.

The unit comprises main bedroom with a double bed and an elegant wooden wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower and a bath. A second bedroom has two three quarter beds.

The kitchenette is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Dine at the quaint wooden table and chairs.

The lounge area has comfortable leather couches arranged around a rustic rug. Relax on the couches or enjoy a cup of coffee at the kitchen counter top and bar stools.

Die Ou Winkeltjie has a stellar braai area and guests can unwind around the fire in the garden. Parking on the premises is included.

Breakfast & Dinner is available off-site by prior arrangement.

Merweville attractions include Tankwa Karoo National Park, Akkerendam Nature Reserve, and Gariep Dam Nature Reserve. Guests of Die Ou Winkeltjie can visit Northern Cape Wine Estates or Hantam National Botanical Garden.
