Mount Everest Gästefarm

Mount Everest is 21 km from Harrismith in the eastern Free State, centrally situated about halfway between Johannesburg and Durban.

All units have extraordinary beautiful views and are equipped with Wi-Fi and smart TV's except our eco log cabins that are fitted with gas and solar and has Wi-Fi but is not fitted with a television. From May to September it can get very cold on the farm. We have heaters and warm blankets in each chalet, but be sure to bring enough warm clothes.

All units are self-catering (there is currently no food available on the farm) and self cleaning - please wash your dishes before departure (housekeeping services on request only and charged at R300/day).

The farm has two access gates, making it very safe and secure.

Due to risks associated with biological invasions and associated financial costs, we have a strict no outside firewood policy. Good quality firewood can be purchased for very reasonable rates from Management. Income goes towards invasive species management.
