Kuusamo Holiday Resort is located in Ponta do Ouro, a Mozambican town in the southern part of the country. This town is about 10km from the South African border. This might be why so many South Africans flock to this part of the world every year to enjoy paradise.

The endless soft white beaches with friendly dolphins make this a holiday destination of choice. You may choose between Luxury Safari Tents, 4 sleeper units and 8 sleeper units. These units are equipped to suite your every need.

The Safari Canvas Tents is designed to make camping comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. The following facilities are available at each campsite: *Braai area *Shower *Toilet *Each stand have own private shower and toilet *Spotlight Self-catering units rooms consist of: *Mosquito nets *Bedding *Linen *Air-conditioner The rest of the unit consists of a large open plan kitchen/living area.

The unit has one bathroom which consists of a shower and a toilet. The kitchen has the following: *Full kitchen appliances *Refrigerator / Fridge combination *Microwave oven *Iron board *Electric Iron There is an open deck with benches. An outside washing line may be used to dry your clothes. Each unit has its own washing line. A paid service is available if you need the washing to be done for you. The private braai area is lit with a spotlight to assist you at night when preparing that perfect braai.

We have the following enjoyable structures that will meet the expectations of every camper: A cool clean Swimming Pool that may be enjoyed by the family. This is also the perfect place to make new friends while playing games inside the pool area. A securely controlled Bonfire area for those late nights storytelling by family and friends or just sitting there and listening to the crackling fire while your thoughts take you away.

Kids under the age of 12 years will enjoy the Jungle Gym on the campsite. The structure is safe and complete with a slide, swings and a climbing area. Younger kids must be accompanied by a caretaker or parent/s.

In Ponta do Ouro you will be sure to find beautiful white beaches, dense dune forests, amazing diving and an ever-stretching azure sea. A very traditional open air market, several "cantinas" (little shops) and eager curio sellers will quench your thirst for shopping before you make your way to one of the rustic restaurants in town.
