Klaarstroom, which translates to English as ?clear stream', is located in the heart of the Karoo, and proudly lies where the Great Karoo and Klein Karoo meet, on the path of South Africa's famous Route 62. Our vintage and quaint Klaarstroom Hotel originally opened its doors in 1874 and still retains many original Victorian features, while offering guests access to a charming swimming pool and bar. Klaarstroom is steeped in history and remains one of the few remaining authentic Karoo villages.
