Kapps Mountain Loge

Kapps Mountain Lodge is a historic lodge in the middle of the Kapps mountains and offers a unique and tranquil get-away, just 20 kilometers East of Windhoek and 30 kilometers from Hosea Kutako International Airport.

The lodge offers guests a choice of lovely double and family rooms that can accommodate between two to three people and a campsite for larger groups. Each air-conditioned room comprises a loft sleeping area, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge area. The double rooms are furnished with double beds, while the family rooms contain double and single beds. All rooms have a safety deposit box and a wardrobe, with all bed linen and towels provided. The bathrooms are fitted with showers only, toilets and bathroom amenities included.

The kitchenettes are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, microwave, stove and oven, and the lounge has comfortable seating. Free Wi-Fi access is available and guests have a choice of booking Continental breakfast and standard bacon and eggs.

Situated next to a large dam in between the trees, the campsite is equipped with water and has a private ablution with two hot water showers and two toilets. Electricity is currently not available. Braai facilities and outdoor seating is available. Guests are required to bring their own camping equipment.

With a bar overlooking the Auas Mountain Range, guests can enjoy a sundowner drink on our outdoor deck or arrange for the 15-minute self-drive up the mountain for spectacular views. The lodge features an outdoor terrace and fireplace with stunning views, secure parking, and an airport shuttle service on request (at own cost).
