In Toto Retreat

In Toto invites you to retreat to our unique and individually styled six room Guest House located in the heart of the Garden Route, an iconic tourism destination in South Africa. We are situated in the tranquil town of Sedgefield on the shores of the Swartvlei Lagoon, one of the many lakes located in the Wilderness area of the Garden Route National Park.

Relax and meet other guests in our courtyard or at the breakfast table or reconnect with family and friends as you enjoy a ?braai? or a home-made pizza evening around the large round table under the vines of our courtyard veranda when you book In Toto for your exclusive use.

Slow down and spend time on our pool deck, or head out to one of the breathtaking beaches within easy reach. Take a slow paddle in one of our canoes, test your balance on one of our stand-up paddle boards on the Swartvlei Lagoon or marvel at the sunset during an evening stroll along the water's edge. Explore the many wonders of nature right on our doorstep by hiking, biking, birding, snorkelling or taking a scenic drive to explore the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains, all whilst enjoying endless vistas of the Indian Ocean. For the adventurous spirits, indulge in adrenalin filled activities including paragliding, kite surfing, surfing or bungy jumping from the Bloukrans Bridge, or head out on awesome trails on foot or on your mountainbike.

The close-knit community in Sedgefield allows you to meet local artists and artisans, farmers, chefs, crafters and storytellers at the popular Saturday Wild Oats Community Farmers Market, the Scarab Village Craft Market, Mosaic Village and Outdoor Market and Timberlake Village.
