Greenhill Chalets is your ideal holiday accommodation in Grootfontein, Namibia. We are situated on the B8 National Road that leads from Windhoek to the Caprivi Strip, offering easy access from all directions.

We offer four thatch roof Chalets with single or double beds and en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are unique with rustic designs and built-in wooden furniture. There is a small kitchenette area and mosquito nets in each Chalet.

Other facilities include a thatched dining area, a refreshment lounge area, an open-air beer garden and traditional braais on request. Situated directly opposite the fuel filling station on your way out of town to Rundu, this is the ideal stopover point to Northern Namibia, Caprivi and Bushmanland.

Not worth it by

Never again! Very noizy place did not sleep at all...to pricy also. Almost same price as Toshari Lodge and there is no comparison at all!! Not worth the money spent!

Great place to stay by

Rooms were very good. Service was excellent. The owner is very friendly and we like it when she came and chat with us. She give us good places to visit like, Pandokkies. It is the local visiting place. It was awesome. Her service is of great value. They did our washing and it was much cheaper than you can think of.

Ok by

Clean, friendly service but small and in a noisy environment, next to main road and opposite a petrol filling station. Also no fridge available however this seems to be forthcoming.

Pleasant enough by

Our stay was pleasant enough.  It served as a comfortable stop-over on our trip.  Kitchen area is a bit small for self-catering.  All in all, it served its purpose and was value for our money.
