Eagles' Call is a birder's paradise which can be found midway between Wilderness and Sedgefield on a small farm tucked between the Langvlei and Rondevlei lakes; both an integral part of the Wilderness National Park. Guests have the option of two units in this beautiful neck of the woods, the Eagles' Call Cottage and Chalet are shaded by trees and surrounded by an indigenous garden fed by crystal-clear water.The Cottage and The Chalet are cottage-style units with self-catering facilities and great braai areas. There is also a wonderful elevated Tent offering a spectacular view over the Rondevlei and Langevlei lakes. Rondevlei and Malachite bird hides are close by - ideal for birders.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO CHILDREN UNABLE TO SWIM WILL BE ACCOMMODATED.

A real bird-lovers paradise! by

We enjoyed our stay at Eagles Call. Gail was a very pleasant and helpful hostess and the house was in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We also saw and heard fish eagles, as well as seeing many others from the stoep of the house. A real bird-lovers paradise!

Eagles Call - you can really hear it! by

A very tranquil setting, far from any noise or bustle except for the cry of the fish eagle and many other bird life. The cottage was very well appointed and beautifully decorated. We felt very close to nature and very relaxed, however, shops and beaches were within easy driving distances. My teenagers (who are avid photographer) had many photo opportunities. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable.

We absolutely loved our stay! Gail and Koos was the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very well equiped with everything one might need. It is a very special place and we will be back!
