Dusk till Dawn Jugendherberge

Dusk till Dawn Backpackers is a newly opened backpackers situated on one of the many beautiful hills in Kensington, overlooking the east of Johannesburg. The gorgeous sunsets and moon rises will take your breath away.

Accommodation is offered in a Singles Room, two Family Rooms and a Dormitory Room. The first Family Room is en suite and has a magnificent view and a snug little breakfast nook. The second Family Room is slightly smaller but just as inviting, with a communal bathroom.

The Singles Room sleeps two guests and the beds can be made up together as a double, while the Dormitory can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests and has a shared toilet, bath and shower.

Dusk till Dawn offers a communal kitchen for those who wish to do their own cooking. You can relax in the bar with a cold beer and nibbles, or maybe a chilled cocktail is more your thing.

We also have cable TV in the entertaining area so you won't miss out on your much loved sport events, and Dusk till Dawn features a lovely boma area overlooking the inhabited valley of Kensington, which lights up in the evenings.

We can arrange tours to some of Johannesburg's favourite and well-known sites including the Cradle of Mankind, the apartheid museums in Newtown and Soweto, the Lion Park or Elephant Sanctuary, Sterkfontein Caves or a much needed hike in the picturesque Magaliesberg.
