Rest and Sea Self-catering

Rest and Sea self-catering suite is a three minute walk to the beach. We offer outdoor parking, a private entrance, outdoor patio with barbecue, lounge, kitchenette, two bedrooms each with an en-suite ensuring the perfect family or couples getaway to relax and refresh.

Gansbaai is home to the Marine Big Five: whales, sharks, dolphins, seals and penguins. We have beaches, fishing, hiking, birding, horse-riding, restaurants and so much more and with so many adventures to choose from; you won't want to leave!

Franskraal is a small suburb located just outside the shark cage diving centre of South Africa, which is Gansbaai.

Franskraal in the Overberg region is also home to the Strandveld Museum, providing guests with an informative history of this small coastal town.
