Smithfield House

Smithfield House is located in Smithfield, 130 kilometers from Bloemfontein on the N6, making it the ideal overnight stop on all major routes. The house is situated on a piece of land of five acres and offers a real rural experience with amenities on your front porch, while poultry and various livestock that come to find a home here have moved around freely. Relax on the veranda while enjoying the sunrise or sunset, or look at the beautiful starry sky far away from all the noise.

Accommodation is available in three guest suites that can each sleep two adults. Each suite is individually decorated and each room has an en-suite bathroom and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The village lies in the shade of two hills with a view over the countryside. There is a nine-hole golf course along the N6 and the dam and hills nearby provide many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, jogging or canoeing.

The room rate does not include meals. Meals are served by prior arrangement. The host can also inform you about alternative eateries all within one kilometer of the guesthouse and make reservations for you.
