We welcome you to friendly hospitality and peaceful surroundings of a beef and timber farm.

Hillside Farm B&B, has a scenic view overlooking a farm dam, teeming with bird life. See buck and guinea fowl grazing approximately 100m from the cottages. Our two cottages are called Butterfly Cottage & Guineafowl Cottage.

Butterfly Cottage is ideal for a family of four. It has a bathroom leading off the main bedroom and two single beds upstairs. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, fridge and a hotplate (on request).

Guineafowl Cottage is somewhat more luxurious and perfectly suited for a couple, keen to escape the city or relax after a long drive. The cottage has a King Size Bed, which can be converted into two single beds. There is also a small kitchenette, built-in braai and patio.

Hillside Farm B&B is the ideal stop over from the Kruger National Park en route to the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast or vice versa.

We spent the last night of our honeymoon here and it was the perfect finish. Liz was warm and prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. The cottage is clean and comfortable and actually looks better in reality than in the pictures. The setting is beautiful and tranquil with a view of the dam and fields. Very good value.

Stay at Butterfly Cottage by

We were thoroughly thrilled with the accommodation, the hosts' welcome, and the breakfast. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has all of the amenities any traveller would need. The surroundings are tranquil and refreshing for a tired traveller. Definitely worth the few extra minutes' travelling time to stay there.
