Gannaga Lodge

Gannaga Lodge is situated on 20 hectares of private land in the Tankwa National Park. It is in the most beautiful part of the countryside in the Northern Cape, right on the crest of the breathtaking Gannaga Pass. The lodge is 29 kilometres from Middelpos on the dirt road between the town of Ceres.

Accommodation is offered in 10 comfortable rooms that are either in the newly renovated Old Farmhouse or the converted Stable Block. This lodge is the only establishment that offers bed and breakfast accommodation and restaurant facilities within the boundaries of the National Park. Ganaga Lodge does not offer self-catering accommodation.

The reception is newly built from local stone and stone obtained from the old outbuildings of the farm. It has air-conditioning and a bar full of stock, spacious living areas, a dining room and a meeting room suitable for seminars and small conferences. From here, guests can enjoy lovely views in the direction of Langkloof and across the Gannaga Pass to the Ceres Karoo. The kitchen specialises in traditional, local food and only local produce where possible.
