With lush, open fields, rocky mountain views and tranquility, Yarona Guest Farms is a working farm just 15 kilometers from Clarens and offers guests a relaxing getaway to appreciate the freedom the farm has to offer.

Guests have a choice of cabins that have private entrances and comprises one or two bedrooms and private bathrooms. The open-plan cabins have private kitchenettes and living areas with a fireplace for the colder evenings, and for convenience, one bag of firewood is provided.

Opening onto a private terrace with lovely views of the surroundings, guests have use of braai facilities, parking, and a communal children's play area. The farm offers hiking and walking, and the fauna consists mainly of shy game, large birds, baboons, as well as venomous and non-venomous snakes, and guests are asked to please take care.

The cleanest, nicest and well furnished stay we have had in the Clarence region. The one thing that stood out was the cleanliness. Even the pitside of the cabin was so clean and it is so well maintained. The linen was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was spotless. The fireplace was clean, the braai area was clean. Just such a wonderful relaxing stay. The big wooden framed windows gives the umpression of framed artwork when you look to the outside. We enjoyed the balcony with it's breathtaking views over the Golden Gate mountains. We will definitely return as Groenhoek is value for money.
