For peace and tranquillity in the heart of the African bush, for close contact with the animals, birds and plants that occupy this part of the Balule Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park, and for luxury and comfort at the same time, Leopard's View is the place to stay. Established 10 years ago, the Lodge was completely refurbished in 2008 to create quality accommodation that blends into the natural surroundings

We have three spacious rondavels, each equipped with its own character but all beautifully appointed. The rondavewls can accommodate six people, perhaps eight if our two child beds are used.The focal point of the Lodge, with its fabulous hilltop location, is the viewing deck, dining and bar area, which affords an unparalleled view of our waterhole in the valley below.

Relax, watch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush and let the animals come to you. All this and great food as well as a warm welcome from Neil and Ann Kern, who are the owner/managers.

Leopard's View is about being in the bush but there is also plenty to do by way of organised game drives or walks in Balule, or visits to local attractions like the Kruger National Park. The Lodge provides easy access to major roads and regional airports

Pure Bliss! by

This is the second time for us at Leopards View, and this time around it was pure bliss! Congratulations to the new owners, Ann & Neil for transforming Leopards View into an even more magical place to stay! The accommodation, viewing deck and the general living areas have been upgraded. Five Stars! There is no better place than Leopards View to sit on an evening, enjoying a good glass of wine, watching the sun go down and the various game coming to drink from the waterhole. We are really looking forward to coming back to visit this very special place in the near future. Thank you for a very special time indeed.

Wonderful experience by

We are back home and cannot stop telling our friends about the lovely time we spent with you at Leopard's View. As you know, we have been to numerous game farms and lodges, because that is our preferred holiday destination. Your lodge had all the elements wrapped into one. The accommodation was most comfortable and "complete", you two are the best hosts anybody can wish for because of your natural friendliness. Of course, Ann's cooking, or shall I say haute cuisine, takes the cake (excuse the pun). One truly feels at home and never that you are in somebody else's domain. The deck overlooking the waterhole is the best. If one does not want to go in search of animals on a game drive, you can sit in a comfortable arm chair and watch the animals come down to the waterhole, having a nice drink (us of course) and most pleasant conversations with you and other guests. What more could you ask for. Thank you so very much for everything you did to cope with my disability and never letting me feel as if I were a nuisance. That was very special! Great view with great company by

Neal and Anna were very welcoming and friendly. They were a great help with our stay, information on Kruger and our onward travels in SA. Leopard View has an amazing panoramic view and a great quaint bed n breakfast feel. Great food and great hospitality. If you are looking to get away from the commercialized resorts this is a great option.

Eastern in Balule by

Thank you Ann and Neil for your excellent hospitality from the first to the last minute, much appreciated. We had a great time with you, and if possible we would like to come back, even for longer.
